TOTAL PATAGONIA CIRCUIT (11 DAYS / 10 NTS)

DAY 01 - BUENOS AIRES

Reception at the airport and transfer to the hotel, free afternoon. Accommodation

DAY 02 - BUENOS AIRES

After breakfast, at the time agreed upon with the guide, we leave the hotel to tour the city of Buenos Aires in a panoramic way, visiting the main tourist spots.

We will visit Plaza de Mayo, political, social and historical center where we will find the Casa Rosada, headquarters of the Executive Branch; the Cabildo; the Metropolitan Cathedral and the May Pyramid. From there we will cross part of Avenida de Mayo, rich in a variety of architectural styles where European-style buildings stand out. This avenue connects the Executive and Legislative Palaces, and was and continues to be a meeting point for the Spanish community.

Then we will go to visit the neighborhood of La Boca, characteristic for its homes and for having been the first Port of Buenos Aires and center of the Italian community, especially the Genoese. Here we can see the Boca Juniors Stadium from the outside (admission not included).

Later we will visit the northern part of the city that has large parks and the aristocratic area of ​​Recoleta and Palermo.

At the end of the excursion, return to the hotel. Rest of the day free. Accommodation.

DAY 03 - BUENOS AIRES

DAY 04 - BARILOCHE

Breakfast. Departure on an excursion to the Small Circuit. The trip begins from Bariloche along Av. Bustillo bordering Lake Nahuel Huapi. At Km 8 is Playa Bonita, with a 10km view of Huemul Island. Later, after crossing different landscapes, you reach Cerro Campanario on foot (CLIMB NOT INCLUDED) from the base a chairlift departs that ascends its visitors to 1500 meters above sea level. At the top there is a cafeteria and above it rises a terrace that allows you to admire one of the most complete and beautiful views of all the surroundings: Los Lagos Nahuel Huapi, and Perito Moreno. El Trébol Lagoon. Llao Llao and San Pedro Peninsulas, Victoria Island. Cerros Otto, López, Goye and Catedral and the city of San Carlos de Bariloche. 

Returning then to the route, we enter the Villa de Llao Llao, where the San Eduardo Chapel is located, a jewel of regional architecture and the magnificent Llao Llao hotel, a true symbol of the place and designed by the great architect Alejandro Bustillo, which was inaugurated in the year 1939. Above the lake you can see the important and picturesque Puerto Pañuelo. After bordering Lake Escondido, the road passes over the bridge of the Angostura stream, joining the Moreno Lakes with the Nahuel Huapi. Passing through Bahía López, at the foot of the hill of the same name, we arrive at the Panoramic Point at km 40 at 945 meters above sea level. where you can appreciate the majesty of the landscape that constitutes Lake Moreno and the Llao Llao peninsula. Bordering Lake Moreno you reach the bridge that allows you to cross this lake and then walk along the shore of the El Trébol lagoon and at km 45 join the initial route. We will continue along this road until taking the detour that in a few kilometers will take us to the base of Cerro Catedral, where we will find the main ski center in Argentina. 

Depending on the time of year, in this place you can enjoy the snow (July to September) you can tour the base of the hill where there are several gastronomic options to have lunch (LUNCH NOT INCLUDED) And you will have free time so, if you wish, you can Go up the mountain (CLIMB NOT INCLUDED) and enjoy wonderful panoramic views.

At the time agreed with the guide, the return to the city of Bariloche will begin.

DAY 05 - BARILOCHE

DAY 05 - THE CALAFATE

Reception at El Calafate airport and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.

DAY 06 - THE CALAFATE

After breakfast, we will depart from your hotel to take the excursion to the Perito Moreno Glacier, including entrance tickets to the National Park.

The Glacier is an immense white river with bluish tones, declared by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 1982. From the Glacier National Park we will enter the different walkways that are arranged on three levels, from which we will be able to observe spectacular panoramic views of the glacier contemplating the periodic landslides on its front.

In the National Park you will have the option of sailing (OPTIONAL NOT INCLUDED) to appreciate the ice floes coming from the Perito Moreno Glacier from a boat in front of the glacier wall at a distance of approximately 500m, with the possibility of observing the detachment of the glacier front 60 to 70 m high.

Finishing the visit of the national park, return to the Hotel. Accommodation.

DAY 07 - THE CALAFATE

Breakfast, day off. We suggest taking an optional excursion to see different landscapes of the region.

DAY 08 - THE CALAFATE

DAY 08 - USHUAIA

DAY 09 - USHUAIA

After breakfast, at the time agreed upon with the guide, we will go on an excursion to the Tierra del Fuego National Park.

The park is located 12 km away. west of the city of Ushuaia. Due to its geographical and climatic characteristics, it is UNIQUE in the country. Its uniqueness is given by the fact that in its sixty-three thousand (63,000) hectares, different environments (wooded, maritime, lake and mountainous) are combined.

During the tour we will be able to appreciate the splendid panoramic views of the Beagle Channel, framed by the Andes Mountains and its native forests made up of Lengas, Guindos and Ñires (Nothofagus), peat bogs and beaver groves.

One of the most notable sites on this tour is the last Argentine bay to the S.W. known as Lapataia, being the End of National Route No. 3, we will also visit Lake Acigami (former Roca) and Ensenada.

Finishing the visit to the National Park, return to the city of Ushuaia.

We recommend sailing through the Beagle Channel (NOT INCLUDED) in the afternoon to get to know the city of Ushuaia from a totally different perspective. Accommodation.
